On October 24, 2024, an international conference on the topic "Development of Free Civil Society and Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations" was held in Tashkent as part of the International Cooperation Initiatives Week.
Patrik Olssons, a researcher from Lund University participated in this conference during his secondment within the MOCCA project. The conference, organized by the Center for the Analysis of Democratic Processes together with partner organizations, was attended by more than 10 foreign and more than 100 local experts, government bodies, non-governmental non-profit organizations, representatives of academic circles, and activists of political parties.
During the conference, Uzbekistan's reforms in the way of democratic development, in particular, fundamental changes in the field of civil society, the country's achievements in terms of openness and transparency were brought to the attention of the world community.
